A question about American politics
How do the American conservatives respond to the notion that the America's involvement in the Yugoslav Wars (the bombings of Belgrade) is responsible for the rise of socialism (as an opposition to the "capitalism") in Croatia?

I don't think 10% of Americans, conservative or liberal and including those whose ancestors are from Balkan areas, give any thought to what goes on in Croatia. My guess would be that most people, American or not, would begin with the presumption that Croatia is responsible for its own actions.

Look, I know that the media in the English-speaking countries rarely report news from the non-English-speaking countries, but do you really not know what's going on in Dubrovnik (which is today a part of Croatia)? Is it really not featured even on the Fox News, on which Venezuela is often featured?
