Actually, Stuart left Lee with more cavalry than he took on his raid (Where he carried out Lee's orders to the letter), Lee sent one off raiding, kept one with him, the other two were watching the Army of the Potomac and senior brigade commander Beverly Robertson was criminally lax about rejoining Lee. Stuart made a couple of poor decisions during the raid, but the raid itself wasn't really the problem.

Viperlord did you lift that image straight off another site? Sometimes if you just link direct to an image the image you end up with is not the one you thought you were getting. Try using photobucket.com first.

The 11th NY Infantry, known as the Fire Zouaves since it was made up of firemen from various NYC fire brigades.
