I was 6, and I can't remember it at all. I learned about it later and the story fascinates me. I wish the movie Munich would come on again, I haven't seen it for several years.

It makes sense it's not as big to American's but I was wondering if it was still one of those things where you remember exactly what you were doing etc. Seems as though it was. As for the lack of security, and the the complete debacle of not phoning german 'swat' in time, the traffic, civilians, marksmen being in the crossfire of marksmen and the police. It's just crazy that it even happened at all.

The fact that the Isreali's tracked the rest of the terrorists down is awesome. Although some of them lost their lives too. It just goes to show that you take one terrorist down and another is there in his place instantly.

It's also a litlle eerie when the movie Munich shows scenes of the WTC
I do not think that people in general would remember what they were exactly doing on that day in 1972 unless they witnessed the event. 9/11 is different and sticks to our minds because if you think about it it happened in 3 sequences, as well as the date itself will remind you of the particular day and month. There were more witnesses and it took place in 2 states. I remember specific details of that day because I was one of the many witnesses, therefore I cannot ever forget!
