Lincoln's relationship with men has been queried ( so to speak) since the 1920s when one of his biographers referred to a " a streak of lavender, and spots soft as May violets" in his correspondence.
So as the Blacks and the Jews cannot claim Lincoln as one of their own--the Whoopsies seem to have a case.
Off topic, and mostly false. Probably gay-bashing too.

AFAIK there seems to be exactly the same evidence for either Mr Lincoln or Mr Johnson being Jewish as for any POTUS ever being Muslim.

But one could always learn something new; a little relevant hard evidence is all that would be required.

Indeed. It is as an American that he can be claimed as one of our own. Let's move on.

Of course no one wants their masculine heroes sounding like a hysterical chorus boy and all previous portrayals have featured Lincoln with a deep, resonant theatrical voice.
But truth is truth.

Didn't Bismarck also have a high-pitched voice? Lincoln was in good company, leadership-wise, if that was the case.

It not off-topic at all. The OP raises the question as to if Abraham Lincoln was Jewish. The very suggestion is either an attempt by Jews or Philo-Semites to claim some of his charisma or for Anti-semites to denigrate him or both. The motivation behind suggesting that Lincoln was a homosexual that has swirled around for the last hundred years at least (

I am surprised that you cannot read into the subtext of my post, or are you too sensitive?

I'm told that Patton also had a squeaky voice.

They were not alone, Disraeli too, Lord Cochrane and plenty more. The truth is in an age before public address systems, raising your voice a few octaves was more efficient in addressing a crowd. (They teach you that in public speaking.) It's quite interesting that many public figures on early "talkie" newsreels have what we would call today, squeaky voices-- a lot of actors lost their jobs when talkies came in too.
A really ugly man like Lincoln with a squeaky voice could get elected in 1860, but he wouldn't have had a cat in hell's chance had he been even vaguely Jewish or Catholic for that matter.

Always thought he sounded more like George C Scott! Says a great deal for leadership that a squeaky sounding guy can rise to such great heights. Hitler was very guttural of course...so perhaps it says little for his type.

*sigh*
Very well... John Adams and Benjamin Franklin shared a bed several times in travels together, but the most open part of that relationship was the window in their room.
