I didn't really work on putting anybody in a particular order. In truth, I was very tempted to just go with names not already posted and out there. Indian society placed so much emphasis on the individual and small groupings that ranking them numerically doesn't really seem possible. I think its just a nice popularity contest. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy it. I like the thread.

Having grown up in Alabama complete with visits to Horseshoe Bend battlefield, I have also been fond of stories concerning William Weatherford.

More seriously, i had a childhood fascination with Tecumseh after reading James Alexander Thom's book about his life. He's the only one i know a little about.
