Well, couldn't you write a paragraph or two about each of them. I don't even remember who some of them were.

Four letter word.

Begins with the letter 'L' and end with 'Y'

Middle two letters is the abbreviation of Arizona.

I would have Richard Nixon among the worst, and leave off J. Adams, Harry Truman and Hannibal Hamlin. Andrew Johnson would be among my worst.

I really don't know how one could tell a bad one from a good one. Does a bad one skip funerals for low level potentates? Forget the gavel for the State of the Union address?

A really bad one gets schnockered at the inauguration and embarrasses the pres.

I'm inclined to say that Lincoln got a double-whammy of bad vice presidents. I wish he had left Johnson in whatever stinking gutter he found him in.

Wasn't Hannibal Hamlin rumored to have had Southern sympathies? He kind of comes across as a non-entity.

Hamlin was a Radical Republican. He supported the raising of balck troops and the Emancipation Proclamation. Two of his sons became Union generals.
