Oh, please, Viperload. If you weren't impressed with that deep analysis of Lincoln and constitutional issues, at least you have to be impressed with the oh-so-clever way he knowingly violated forum rules about contemporary politics to get in a dig against Bill Clinton.

I would like to buy Viper and Jax a beer.

And that is magnamous on my part, since Jackson IMO, had the most shortcomings of all of those we put on Mount Olympus

True enough. Maybe he'll break his usual rule and return to the thread to explain that one to us. I detest these hit-and-run posters who just leave uninformed one-liners and then scurry off rather than actually defend or explain their reasoning. They make Historum look like Twitter.

That's the problem. You are judging presidents by how they compare to other presidents rather than by merit and how they compare to what we should deserve and expect from a leader.

That is a point - are we judging based on an objective standard or in comparison with others who have held the potion. For example in a scale of Poor Fair Good Excellent, I would rate myself a fair driver, but I would also rate myself an above average driver.

He did no such thing. This is just pc Yankee mythology. It was Robert E Lee who kept the USA together after Lincoln tried to destroy it.
