The best builders in Ancient Times? - Historum

These biuldings are thousands of years old, and they did all this with basic copper, bronze, and later iron tools. Who do you think were the best builders of antiquity?

Although I'm partial to the ziggurats of ancient Mesopotamia, I'm going to have to go with the obvious choice and vote for the Egyptians. All of the architecture of the ancient civilizations is truly mind-blowing.

If we're talking about architects I'll go with the Egyptians and Greeks.
But if, when using the term builder you mean constructor, without a doubt the Romans were the best, accomplishing amazing feats of engineering.

The Romans were the best 'builders.' They could do amazing things in such quick time. Granted, they had legions of five thousand+ men doing all the work when they were on campaign, but it was still an amazing thing they did. But the Egyptians had phenomenal structures. But so did the Romans. I have to say, in my opinion, the Romans were the best. I love their work.

Egyptian are the best. They constructed the only surviving 7 ancient wonders structures. Greeks and Romans come second
