Need a good article/source/knowledgeable poster to tell me how the Romans set up forts for the night and also how they used tactics to set up permanent forts. Thank you.

Robert, I know that you read books from Osprey Military Publishing. They have two titles in their "Fortress" series, one on Imperial Legionary forts, the other on Auxiliary forts.
