I've just finished reading From Democrats to Kings and it has quite a few chapters on Epaminondas and Pelopidas.

Carcalla, I chuckled to myself because it was reading that same book that got me interested in Epaminondas and Pelopidas.

I don't usually read about the Greek history (although I love their myths), but I fancied a break from Rome. It was a good book. So much so, in fact, that it has sparked my interest in Greek history and I'm reading up on them more. Quarrelsome bunch, weren't they?
