Thank you very much for the information.

A little googling turned up this;

"
In truth and of a certainty, there is no doubt that the higher is from the lower and the lower is from the higher. The working of wonders is from one as all things came from one by the treatment of the one. Its father is the sun and its mother is the moon. The wind has borne it in its belly, and the earth has nourished it. It is the father of talismans, the bearer of wonders, and the perfecter of powers--a fire which became earth. Separate the earth from the fire, [for] the subtle is nobler than the gross, with care and prudence. It ascends from earth to heaven and then descends back to the earth. Within it is the power of the higher and the lower, for it has acquired the light of lights, and darkness thus flees from it. This is the power of all powers which conquers everything subtle and penetrates everything solid. In accord with the creation of the universe is the creative operation of the work. This is my glory, and for this reason I am called Hermes Trismegistus [“thrice great”].[97] [translation revised since publication]"

This does tie into alchemy but it's largely merely coincidence that ties it. When the water is "turned toward earth" the subtle (CO2) is off gassed and the gross (calcium carbonate, etc) form the "philosopher's stone".

A natural philosopher's stone was known as the ben ben in Egypt. People have been seeking artificial ben bens forever but no longer know how to do it. Here's a clue; consult Sopdu.

The writer (who has a connection with the Great White Lodge which also works through the pyramid priesthood) was instructed to recover and return to the Great Pyramid the ancient tablets.
This, after adventures which need not be detailed here, was accomplished. Before returning them, he was given permission to translate and retain a copy of the wisdom engraved on the tablets. This was done in 1925 and only now has permission been given for part to be published.

The tablets are not real ,surely it would have been know world wide of this discovery in 1925

If you have any information to indicate the later version has an historical precedent I'd be quite interested. I've not been able to trace anything back before the "finder" of this material.

The quality of this apparent forgery is so superb that I'm not anxious to write it off entirely. The only place I'd fault the work is it seems to imply a much greater cosmological and physical knowledge than the ancients could have been familiar. It seems to suggest beliefs among the ancients that are consistent with my understanding of them but no one else.

I'm simply inclined to dismiss it as an excellent forgery. I believe most orthodox believers would write it off as a clumsy forgery.

Good question.

Im getting mad that i keep getting hooked on these viral videos and then when i research the subject, more than 99% of the "facts" don't exist or are completely misleading. I was wondering about the tablets myself and found only reference to The Emerald Tablet not multiple ones. However there are websites with 13 or something "emerald tablets" translated into english with no source of where it came from or who translated them or how they have the translations when there is not one historian or archeologist who says they exist. Im going with they are bogus unless there someone out there who knows where to look on the contrary, because we all have google and know of wikipedia so enlighten me.

The Emerald Tablet & Hermetic Tradition
Long ago in a mystical time a text was written – just thirteen lines – and it became key to a thought process. Ancient and with a name shrouded in mystery, the Emerald Tablet has awed and inspired alchemists, magicians, inventors and faiths for many centuries. A simple logic is etched into one of the oldest Hermetic texts known, predating Christian religion.
Alternative Religion writes, “The Emerald Tablet languished in relative obscurity until the middle ages, when it began to circulate throughout the alchemical community through contact with Muslim mystics. Scholars believe the original was written in Greek, but the oldest surviving copies are Arabic translations. Despite its mysterious origin, many have imputed great significance to the text- its famous translators include Roger Bacon, Isaac Newton, and even HP Blavatsky …The philosophical ideas contained within are profound- influencing medieval alchemists, Jewish kabbalists, Masons, and ritual magicians alike.”

The Emerald Tablet
Tabula Smaragdina
The Emerald Tablet, also known as Smaragdine Table, Tabula Smaragdina, or The Secret of Hermes, is a text purporting to reveal the secret of the primordial existence and its forms. It claims to be the work of Hermes Trismegistus (“Hermes the Thrice-Great”), a legendary Egyptian sage, identified with the Egyptian god Thoth, the Roman god Mercury and the Greek god Hermes.
This cryptic text was highly regarded by European alchemists as the foundation of their art, in particular the Hermetic tradition.
Alchemists (early chemists and metallurgists) believed that the universal formula contained in the Emerald Tablet was the basis for a spiritual technology first introduced on the planet in ancient Egypt more than 10,000 years ago. This formula consists of seven operations performed on “matter” – whether it be physical, psychological, or spiritual.
The Emerald Tablet of Hermes, because it stimulates right brain responses, was intended to arouse intuition, imagination and insight. An ancient diagram was conceived to help visualize the meaning. Centuries ago, a student asked his master, “What is the secret of alchemy?” The master replied, “In VITRIOL is the answer.” Observe:
Visita — Visit
Interiora–the interior
Terrae–of the earth;
Rectificando–in rectifying,
Invenies– to discover
Occultum–the hidden
Lapidem–stone.

What does all that mean? “Look within to find the foundation”. Note that there are 7 Latin words in the statement. In alchemy (the Below), there are 7 metals. In astrology (the Above), there are 7 planets. In each of us there are 7 chakras (energy centers). Together, they point to 7 levels of action we internalize. The “stone” is a reference to the Stone of the Philosophers. But beware, this is not the same as the Philosophers’ Stone. The centre of the earth is a reference to our own being. An individual must grow into something that is utterly fundamental to their true nature. That should give us a starting point for meditation and visualization
A meditative mandala first published in 1759 as an illustration for the book “Azoth of the Philosophers” by German alchemist Basil Valentine illustrates the seven aspects of VITRIOL

It appears to me that the ancients were always at least partially correct. It's only in later times we can get it completely wrong.

There is a lot of interesting material in the hermetic texts and the alchemical tradition. Man's history has been mostly lost but many fragments survive.

It's bogus.

The writer of this material studied modern physics. If I read it more I could tell you a lot more about him no doubt but frankly this was all I needed to know. This guy was very very sharp and very insightful about the ancient people. He was able to make it seem pretty plausible.

I researched this for some time as I was studying it and sought expert advice. There simply is no trail of evidence dating back before the last century. I'd really like to find out it had some source material or basis in fact but there almost certainly is none. It's a remarkable achievement but it's still fiction.

My guess is he read and studied the hermetic writings and read a scholarly book or two on Egyptology as resource material. This was an era that science fiction was gaining in popularity and there were dozens of wondrous new cosmological theories. He just wove everything into a fictional account. It has a similar formatting to the Book of Enoch which I strongly recomment reading especially to those interested in the other version of the Emerald Tablets.
