Nice.... I am puzzled though. You only photographed one item that dates back in 2400 BC. Everything else is from 1450 BC onwards... I am more interested in the third millenium BC, to be honest.

Aww, you didn't get to see the Roman galleries? There's a bust of your namesake there, next to a big statue of his dad

The Fitzwilliam in Cambridge also some stunning stuff, especially a superb, massive head of Ramses The Great in basalt.

(the Fitz is my favourite small museum)

The bust of Caracalla is quite distinctive, isn't it? He's got a magnificent sneer to him!

It's fun going into a Roman gallery at a museum and trying to identify the busts of Emperors without looking at the museum caption. Caracalla with his sneer, Titus with his curly hair, Vespasian with the constipated look on his face, Trajan with his bowl cut, and Marcus Aurelius with the slightly spacey look in his eyes.

It's amazing how consistent different busts of the same emperor are, which leads me to think that most of them are quite accurate in depicting what the emperor actually looked like.
