Been to the British Museum with the family today. Only got to see Egypt before my son got bored... but I did spend amost 2 hours there  Anyway, this is a short video of that day out.

Nice.... I am puzzled though. You only photographed one item that dates back in 2400 BC. Everything else is from 1450 BC onwards... I am more interested in the third millenium BC, to be honest.

The Fitzwilliam in Cambridge also some stunning stuff, especially a superb,massive head of Ramses The Great in basalt.
(the Fitz is my favourite small museum)

Caracalla with his sneer, Titus with his curly hair, Vespasian with the constipated look on his face, Trajan with his bowl cut, and Marcus Aurelius with the slightly spacey look in his eyes.
It's amazing how consistent different busts of the same emperor are, which leads me to think that most of them are quite accurate in depicting what the emperor actually looked like.
