What about the Ark of the Covenant? A mystery of unknown for nearly 3000 years. The holy grail would be another; whether it was a bloodline or a chalice of some sort would be an interesting find.

Not that it could ever yield artifacts for rediscovery, but if there were anyway to get what was in the former Library of Alexandria.

Very cool answer. I've always been fascinated by what truths were kept in the Library of Alexandria.

Another great undiscovered artifact would be the "missing link" so many creationists are looking for (or not looking for).
