Kind of glossed over Egyptian architecture...

the pyramids and sphinx hardly represent the standard of Egyptian architecture...
Which was dominated by the pylon and colonnade.
The Pyramids were a relatively short period of funerary extravagance that had no real relation to the working and living architecture of Egypt.
