Another version of Euripides' Stasimon from Orestes by Petros Tabouris. Magnificent!

An Erasmic version of the First Delphic Hymn to Apollo by Joulia Strauss:

Damn, I can't get used to the Erasmic pronunciation no matter how many times I listen to it....

Here is the (original fragment) of the First Delphic Hymn to Apollo in Non - Erasmic accent.

I have to admit that I don't have a problem with erasmian pronunciation, but what bothers me is her accent (Joulia Strauss - first hymn).
I listened to both Greeks using erasmian pronunciation and other people (mostly english native speakers) and they clearly have a germanic accent. I know that modern greek is not the same as ancient or koine, but ancient pronunciation sounds stranger when it is used by non-Greeks.

I am glad we agree. I once listened to Seikilos epitaph performed by an American group (women was singing). The instrumental part was great, but her accent was bad.
