I wish that myth were true too. Most girls I've known would rather have nice guys as just friends, and don't want to "risk spoiling the friendship" by anything more intimate.

As someone who is generally regarded as a bit of a nice, albeit quiet, guy myself, I find this a bit frustrating at times. Especially if I have secretly fancied one of my female friends.

I have this friend who is incredibly nice but has never even kissed a girl. Sure, he acts like a bit of a young puppy around girls but he still deserves it more than some idiot who wears stuffed coats to look more muscled
