A comment from another thread got me to thinking, is Heavy Metal in the US bland as compared to other countries? Plus, share some videos if you feel like it.

^ I used to drive my wife nuts with that song when we first got married. Not that i like the song, just the implication. Anyways, Rock or metal, i'm not sure which they would fit under, but certainly glam. By chance, do you have any heavy metal groups where your from?

They are Filipino bands that plays heavy rock music. I'm going to post it here.

A very talented group i must say. The last video is quite interesting. What language is it? Should i presume it's Tagalog or would that be incorrect? Anyways, after doing a little bit of research into them and i most certainly am not musically inclined, but regarding the last video i would dare to go out on a limb and say that i could almost hear every single one of their musical influences in the rhythm of this particular song. Thank you very much for sharing

Personnally, I find that most bands we hear from that are from the US are mostly bland, uninspired stuff. I reference bands like Slipknot, Korn, As I lay dying, etc...
Metallica used to mean something, but they threw it all overboard with crap like Load, reload, St.Anger, etc... I do admit that Death Magnetic is a pretty solid album, but it's just...meh...Just the same kind of stuff all over again.
