Religious music through the ages.


Although I am not religious myself I have always enjoyed music which has been inspired by faith whether it be Medieval, holy orotario, gospel etc. Hopefully some of you might find this thread interesting and any songs or comments you wish to contribute would be most welcome. Here are two pieces to start it off one from the medieval period and a Handel classic :

I understand, the music. I was brought up to be an atheistic person but I have been drawn to spirituality. I love good music.

I'm a fan of the genre VR, great idea for a thread. It'll outmatch the Celtic Folk thread yet.
