Wierd, Bizzare, and yet Edible Food.

Im writing an article about foods around the world, but im only familiar with foods of my Homeland. Im asking for more input. For example , Im from Mexico and the bizzare food i chose is " Escamole" which are the eggs of ants that are used to make tacos, salads, or rice.
I want to know about food equally strange from your part of the world.
