She got the cats to perfection. It may seem easy, but in fact capturing the countless delights of a cat is a hard task. I never succeeded in taking a a photo of my cat that would do him justice. :)

What a totally amazing artist. I have a hunch Africa is going to amaze us further. Looking at the quality of traditional African sculpture there's bound to be an eruption of talent from there.

Thank you both! It is just a hobby of her: she's engineer in electronics

cont. Polish school of illustration.

Józef Wiłkoń b.1930

I love the magical way he plays with coloured inks and watercolour.

He's a very elderly man now, but you can see he enjoys himself like a child:

Jerzy Nowosielski (1923 -2011)

http://hej-kto-polak.pl/wp/wp-conten...wosielski.jpeg

Polish/Ukrainian painter, Orthodox-uniate theologist and philosopher. He created a lot of religious art:

But he also reinterpreted the icon tradition in a unique way:

Alexandra Nechita is famous and rich - she gained a fortune from her paintings. Till few years ago was called "little Picasso"

Ms Nechita evidently knows how to promote herself. Frankly, I don't like her work, maybe it's just me, but it seems derivative and highly commercialized. Nowadays business skills have become an indispensible qualification for artists. Unfortunately for art...;)

So I'd rather post some work of the great and truly unique Brancusi :):
