Well, I got the birth of Johan Wagenaar in Holland in 1862. He's one of those underrated composers (IMO) whose music shows a mastery of the craft. I think he simply lacked the ability to sell the music. His overture Cyrano de Bergerac, (written in 1905) in probably his best work.

November 1st in the year 500,043 BC. a rather trendy monkey got bored hanging around and first began tapping his fingers to some kind of rythem..

Shortly afterwards the other monkeys in his tribe we so outraged that they stood up ( first time a monkey began to stand and become the forebearers of modern humans) and beat him to death for his audacity of trying something different.

The tribe never recovered from the shock of what this monkey did and henseforth remained on two feet.
