Best book for imperial China and the advent of the Europeans?

what in your opinion, would be the best book on this topic..which should include major portions such as the opium war and the boxer rebellion etc.

No such thing as no bias. Every one who writes writes with a bias as they have an audience in mind.

Autumn in the Heavenly Kingdom is a good book if you want information about the Taiping Civil War.
The Boxer Rebellion: The Dramatic Story of China's War on Foreigners that Shook the World in the Summer of 1900 is also a good book if you want information about the Boxer Rebellion over all.

That is a difficult thing to do in the modern age.
