4000 years a slave - Pakistan?

Since fall of Indus Valley civilization in 1900 BC, Pakistan has been overrun by foreigners starting with Aryans, followed by a host of other invaders. It seems that Northern India was only peripherally affected by invasions from Kushans, Greeks, Turks, Arabs etc while Southern India was affected even less so. In comparison, Pakistan and even Afghanistan seem to have been overrun quite often in the ancient and medieval era.

What was the reason for this?

Wrong geographical location. Now come the Chinese. But the title of the topic is inspired by national bias rather than history which is deplorable.

The OP statement seems kinda polite enough, even kinda academic, one has to acknowledge. But as for the real unstated intention, though, who knows.

Pakistan was actually the frontier region that bore the brunt of those foreign invasions from west & north, thereby saving the rest of the lands of the Indian sub-continent further southward & eastward from invasion & conquest.

A bit like how the Hittite empire stood for a good thousand years between powerful Asiatic entities in Anatolia-Levant region & southern Europe, until its own collapse in 1100 -1200 BC. Only difference having been that Hattusa did not hv to bear the brunt of anything, becos it was itself a formidable power.

So, latter-day Indians like Samudragupta should be harbouring gratitude, rather than hate or jealousy, to ancient Pakistanis.

That is right, Dreamhunter. They bore the brunt.

Wrong. Lol Pakistan "saved" nobody. IF kingdoms of Pakistan could "save" anybody, they certainly did not and are kind of responsible for the decline of Indian civilization by letting nomad savages into the subcontinent on regular basis.
On the other hand, humans(?) of Malaysia need to be grateful to Indians for bringing them every form of civilization that they have. Go fix your racist Bhumiputra laws before you show up lecturing your teachers. Tamils are not even able to get a decent job and are forced to take up gangsterism to survive (which they do with great success, given the average Malaysian stands at 5' 2)

You may be new to Historum, you may not be. This kind of posting is NOT acceptable on this forum. You have violated the rule on threads regarding the subcontinent, and earned yourself a 7 day suspension.

And let me warn you that if you create another account to get around this suspension, you will be banned permanently.
