Death of IVC by 900 yr old drought

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...w/63776710.cms
IVC went out of business around 4350 yrs ago making it fully dry by 1900 BC or so, this lends credibility to the theory that MBH happened during the end era around 1900 BCE and Rig veda was during the peak of saraswathi some 700-800 yrs ago. Ganaga is born in MBH, not as if people didnot know of ganga but now they are actually migrating there, so hence the birth stories.

Vedas were not composed as early as 900 years ago as you are suggesting. Even the modern Sanskrit dramatist and poet Kalidas predated this timeline you are wrongly positing. These books are far more ancient than that. The Vedic Sanskrit is somewhat different than the Panini's grammar based modern Sanskrit. Vedas are reckoned to be about 4000 years old, which will date them around 2000 BCE.

Are you then suggesting that the Vedas were composed 700 to 800 years ago ? That is even more wrong.

Geology and mythology are two different things. Do not mix them up. River Ganges was born with the rise of Himalayas 50 million years ago.

But then, a 900 year drought!! Preposterous. What would happen to India if the drought was to return? But I suppose, if people survived then, they would survive now also.

A 900 year long drought? Wud shrink & shrivel up the entire sub-continent into a completely parched field, maybe the size of Sri Lanka.

Not impossible. In drought they probably meant constant drying up of water supply, water flow of Saraswati River, instead of drought in literal sense.

Come on, get real. Something wud turn into utter desert within 50 years, at the very most, of having no rain at all.
