Actually, the main enemy of Al-Qaeda is the Arab people, not the West. Far, far more Arabs have died because Al-Qaeda than the combined deaths because the action of these terrorists than of all the western world.
The reason is that the ultimate object of Al-Qaeda groups is the control of the Arabic populations, and the main obstacle is Arab groups.
