Favourite Daimyo

As the title says, what are your favourite daimyo?

Uesugi Kenshin: one of the greatest military commanders of the Sengoku Jidai period,a symbol of bushido, he always fought honorably(he even sent salt supplies to his enemy Shingen when he ran out of them).he is also the man who made Oda Nobunaga cry like a sissy after his defeat at Tedorigawa, unfortunately he died less than a year later from an alcohol related disease.
For me Uesugi Kenshin is a sort of very very very martial Barney Gumble

Azai Nagamasa: the fact that he chose to honor a century long alliance instead of siding with his brother in law is for me something remarkable. In the battle of Anegawa his forces performed really good even if he lost the battle.
Plus he died in the ol' fashion way by committing seppuku inside his burning castle

Maeda Toshiie: he served Nobunaga loyally even after he lost his master's trust due to his quick temper, he was later "pardoned" by Nobunaga, managing the become an horo guard and commanding a force of arquebusers at Nagashino that proved to be decisive

Nabeshima Naoshige: he went from a retainer of Takanobu Ryuzoji(another heavy drinker) to being a daimyo on his own. He was a very skillfull commander(famous his exploit at Saga castle) and also remebered for being the sujbect of some of the Hagakure's precepts

Oda Nobunaga, Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Kato Kiyomasa are my favorites. I think Hideyoshi can count as one too.

i bet 50 bucks that your favourite one is the commander of the Red Devils(i'm not talking about Alex Ferguson)

A Red Devil Armor(it was probably a Okegawa Do, but i'm not a great armor expert) is one of the most astonishing things I've ever seen...it almost froze the blood inside my veins

Kato Kiyomasa is not someone I'd like to meet. Though the stories of him and Konishi's rivalry can be pretty damn funny

I'd go with:

Ieyasu

Sanada Yukimura (his old man too)

Tachibana Muneshige

Date Masamune

Takeda Shingen, Uesugi Kenshin, Date Masamune and Toyotomi Hideyoshi if he counts.

Kato Kiyomasa was feared by the Koreans the most during the Imjin War. He is just badass.

He went from son of a blacksmith to one of the most respected daimyo. His gold laquered kabuto designed after a courtier's cap from the Heian period is simply astonishing(very bling-bling)
