Cool! I went to Xi'an but didn't get to see the Mosque. But I DID go to the street of the Hui.

Nice picture. There are a various types of architecture in China in the history. They are more interesting.

China's traditional landscape gardens were designed primarily to serve as Taoist retreats. They combine artistic design, complex symbolism, and careful arrangement. Their structure reflects the interplay between the principles of yin and yang. For example, garden designers place angular buildings among rounded natural features and rock formations next to water. Light areas alternate with dark, and empty spaces with solids. (From World Book Online Encyclopedia)
