since chola king karikalan who was also a hindu nationalist, is my favourite tamil king of sangam era, is dated in second century ad as all scholars believe that Gajabahu synchronism holds water.

Gajabahugamini was a sri lankan king who flourished in second century ad and his reign was 174-195 and since he is mentioned in connection with Karikalan, it is absolutely sure that Karaikalan flourished about 200 ad and so kallinai dam is of that time that is 200 ad.
