Fuxi original role

Whenever I read about Fuxi, I often heard stories about him surviving the flood with his sister and then they both perform incest to create humanity. However,if I'm not mistaken, this version of stories about Fuxi first appear in 618 - 907 AD in Duyi Zhi. Although Nuwa also appear in the flood myth, her role before that are totally different so I was wondering if Fuxi is the same.

When Fuxi first appear in ancient China historical text and what is his original role?

I already read the one in wikipedia but I would like to know in which primary source Fuxi first appear and when he was first mention in Chinese primary source and what is his original role. The link in wiki is not helpful as they do not state primary sources unlike the Nuwa wiki link I posted above which list out primary sources and what order.

Fuxi 伏羲 was recorded in zhuang zi 《庄子人间世》(bc368-bc286):

also be recorded as 伏犠”、“伏戏" in same history book:

FUXI recorded as 伏犠 in Si ma qian's history record:

Fuxi aslo be recorded as 太昊

Fuxi not be recorded in such book:《论语》《墨子》《左传》《国语》《孟子》 even not in myth book:山海经.so he was recorded first in ZHUANG ZI late Warring States
