Examples of Inuits in Europe - Historum

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any examples when Inuits were brought into Europe by European travelers?

Europeans brought Inuits? R U sure? As far as I know it was only the natives in the Eastern Corridor that went to Europe. Dunno about the British colonies and Spanish colonies; but the first native brought back by the French was a son of the Chief of a Iroqois tribe in Stadacona(I think), by Jacques Cartier

Hans Egede brought an Inuit ( named Poq) from Greenland to Copenhagen (Denmark) in 1724 ...... later on many Inuits visited Denmark ....

In 1501 , Gaspar Corte-Real kidnapped some 57 Inuits from Labrador ......
