# 1) does not even deserve a discussion. Yes, Pakthas were a tribe in RigVedic time, were not considered as Aryans. The Modern Pashtoons have intermingled with many people, but sure they are descendants of the RigVedic Pakthas.

Itís stupid. Muslims were slaves in Burma not rulers. Burmese used to raid Bengal and other provinces for slaves. Burmese have historically treated Muslims as cattle.

Nobody said that Bengalis used to rule Burma. Don't lump Pashtuns with them.

Only Min Saw Mon (Narameikhla 1404-1434) respected the Bengal rule. His successors did not.
"Arakan's vassalage to Bengal was brief. After Sultan Jalaluddin Muhammad Shah's death in 1433, Narameikhla's successors invaded Bengal and occupied Ramu in 1437 and Chittagong in 1459. Arakan would hold Chittagong until 1666."

How did Pashtuns rule Arakan? Did they win some great battle or inavasion ? Just because the local Arakan king employed some muslims as mercenaries doesnt mean that themuslims ruled. The Arabs/iranian/pashtun served the kings of Arakan. They did not rule.

Okay? Did I state Pashtuns ruled Arakan? I was just wondering what the OP had to say on the subject. Doesn't mean I agreee with him. You're being argumentative for no reason.

My apologies if my tone sounds argumentative. English is not my native language. i was genuinely asking the question.

But the relationship may not have been distant. Even Kambojas were termed as non-Aryans by some. All these tribes lived in the same area.

Even Iranian Aryans before accepting Zoroastrianism were Vedics (and so were the Mittanis). The concept of Ahur Mazda came up only later. Zoroaster was an Athravan (i.e., in the line of Sage Atharvan, the oldest and most famous sage of Aryans as per RigVeda. Atharva Veda is credited to him).
