Should southern China become independent?

Should southern China become independent like it used to be during the fragmented periods of Chinese history?

People always include northern and southern Chinese under the umbrella term "Han Chinese". However, there are physical, cultural, as well as linguistic differences between northern and southern Chinese. I often feel that the term "Han Chinese" is a very vague term and it cannot accurately capture the diversity of Chinese populations.

Warring States period map, we can see that large parts of southwest and southeast China were still not under Sinitic control. Most Sinitic states were located in northern China. According to Chinese records, southwest China was the homeland of Bai Pu peoples, while southeast China was the homeland of Bai Yue peoples.

Some Korean, Mongol, and northern Chinese have made the claim that pure Han Chinese were Southeast Asians and southern Chinese. Is this really the case? Let's look at a few ancient Chinese figurines.

Han Dynasty pure Han Chinese tomb figurine, showing Northeast Asian features

Another Han Dynasty figurine, even more similar to Northeast Asians

Qin Terra-Cotta Warrior, similar to northern Chinese

Eh? Do you think China shouldn't be split or that there should be no countries or that all countries should be under China? Your statement is a bit confusing
