The third part of the series, once again I remind you this all had been preposted by myself and I'm still open to any questions.I'm reposting this because the previous one doesn't seem to work...

Now, after the deposed Ummayeds were... deposed. The Abbasaids are the ruler of the Caliphate in 721 C.E.
Here's a map of their full conquest in 840 CE

Now, we reach the penultimate Imam of the Twelver Shias (the most dominant sect in Shia Islam). Imam Hasan al Askari (846-874 AD).Hasan al-‘Askarī was 22, when his father was killed. The period of his Imāmate, following his father's death, was six years. Hasan Al-‘Askarī died at the age of 28 in the year, 260 Hijra and was buried in Samarra , Iraq.

Now, we move on to the ninth Imam of Shia Islam, who is Imam Mohamed Taki (811-835), the youngest of the Imams to have died at the age of 25. He was the son of Imam Ali Reza (AS). It is widely believed he undertook the Imamate at the age of eight, to which his Father, the previous Imam had died.

The History of the Shia - Part 2

Here, we pick off from the last part. Once again, this all had been pre-posted by myself and I thought it would be better to manage them together in a blog
Now, we tread into the era of Imam Jafar al Sadiq, the Sixth Imam. In his own respect, he was born in 702 AD and regarded as a prominent Islamic Scholar. He has contributed, out of all the Imams, the most scientifical knowledge. He was a polymath, to say the least.

The History of the Shia- Part 1

I've compiled this from the thread "The Shia and the Sunni". Most of the things here are already in that thread but I would update it when I've had the time

Widely misunderstood as being the "Catholic vs Protestant" of Islam (in some cases), often judged by sectarianism. This post identifies the Shia history and their relations, I hope this would lighten up some mists in people's minds about the Shia.
