What is fundamentally wrong with modern science?

An observation, a thought that I think revolves around a single question: What is science? Indeed, what is it but a process of combined knowledge of our natural world and the pursuit of life's infinite mysteries. What it is not: a final solution to our every problem.

A case of not being able too see the forest for the trees, i guess?
