The Greedy Queen on Tour

Posted January 17th, 2018 at 09:19 AM by HistoricalGeek

Well hello everyone!

So, when I asked for feedback I've been seeing a lot of 'We want to know when we can see one of your favourite historians'... Well, here it is. Your chance to see, listen to and indeed learn from Dr Annie Gray. Some of you will know instantly just who I mean, but for those who don't? Dr Annie Gray is the truly brilliant historian you see on shows like 'Hidden Killers' 'The Sweetmakers' 'Victorian Bakers'... or perhaps you listen to 'The Kitchen Cabinet'? Yes... THAT Annie.

I can almost hear you all murmuring 'But why?', so here's the answer: Not only is Annie incredibly smart, she is wonderfully engaging and I can pretty much promise you'll have a great time. Anyone who has ever been interested in the Victorian era and Queen Victoria should really go along and give Annie your support.

Annie will be taking part in the Essex Book Festival this year. Appearing at Brentwood Library on Tuesday 13th March. Tickets cost 7 or 5 for people who are 27 years old or under.

For tickets please call the Mercury Theatre on (01206) 573948 or visit the website: www.essexbookfestival.org.uk

Address: Brentwood Library, New Road, Brentwood, CM14 4BP.
