The Anglo-French struggle for mastery in India during the Seven Year’s War differed vastly from those in other theaters in one crucial respect- the British and French governments were not the primary belligerents. Captain's Log Entry 1: An Anglo-German Alliance

This article covers the time period from 1890 until about 1914. It highlights the main reasons why an alliance between Britain and Germany did not take place and how such an alliance could have changed the course of world history and politics.
