The exaggeration of the Battle of Thermopylae: What actually happened.

Posted November 15th, 2017 at 08:08 AM by NBSHistory

I piece I did on the Battle of Thermopylae (I know its so overdone), I utilized all the classic primary sources poking fun at their numbers and unrealistic remarks. I used contemporary secondary sources from well known scholars and even some work from a professor from the University I studied at. I think this video stands apart from many others because I took the time to delve more into the other Greek city people at the battle and their motivations for being there (such as the Thebans). I am a struggling new Youtuber/Historian love any commentary I can get =).

I really like what you are doing here. I have also been trying a few video presentations. I also do classroom presentation. Yours are much better as I have not worked with planting the images in while I speak. Have you been getting a good response from this type of blog posting?
