I have been searching my family history for sometime now. All I know is my ancestors are from Warsaw Poland and that my great great great grandfather was a rich man His name Is Roman. When they were taken from their homes they left everything behind and were put on a ship that went to Ellis Island. At that time they could not pronounce his last name and they gave my family the last name Goralewski. How do I find this information out. Any suggestions will be a big help.

Selby Abbey is at the Northern end and Roche Abbey, Conisbrough and Tickhill Castles at the South, Pontefract Castle to the West.
