The pearl harbor prelude

What many people forget to realize is that the Pearl Harbor attack did not just happen. The logistics of it alone would have taken months of preparation.

The attack may have been sold to the Japanese population as an honorable event, but there was nothing honorable about it, there cannot be honor with deception

Thousand Cranes ... (in memoriam Dmitri Hvorostovky)

An old Japanese tradition, called Thousand Origami Cranes (千羽鶴 - Senbazuru) say that the one folding thousant origami will see his wish coming true.

Rasul Gamzatov, on his visit to Japan learned about the young girl from Hiroshima, a girl contracting leukemia after the atomic bombing. The girl that folded, as the old tradition wants, the thousand origami. Ofcourse, it wasn't enough for saving her young life ....
