Greenwich is a suburb of London with great maritime history, and a World Heritage Site.
The Cutty Sark is also docked there, one of the most beautiful vessels ever built, but it is still under repair and I was unable to admire it.

Greenwich is where the Royal Observatory is located, famous as the site of the Prime Meridian and the defining point of the Mean Time.
A line that runs through its yard separates the globe into Western and Eastern Hemispheres, and it was funny...

Buckingham Palace at night (reminds me a bit of our own Parliament building - not the grandest of Palaces, but still nice).



Next morning, we witnessed the change of the guards (I think it was the Welsh's turn), but I don't have any nice pictures to offer, the scene was so crowded that it was impossible to get a good shot. Also, entry to the Palace itself was impossible, as all tickets...
