The is another war in colonial brazil is called Guaircuru war.

Between 1725-1775, Francisco Rodrigues Prado recounted several confrontations between the Luso-Brazilian and Indian riders occurred in the province of Mato Grosso, where he emphasized, although not openly, the importance of that region for the Portuguese claims. For the Portuguese crown finally succeeded in occupying the captaincy, something should be done about the attacks that group indigenous to monsoon and area residents. According to the testimony of Rodrigues Prado, around 1719, others Wild called Paiaguá, skilled in water, made alliances with the Guaicuru, they learned to use the canoe to attack traders who came from Sao Paulo to Cuiaba.
According to Prado, the most terrible and populated by indigenous groups were Guaicuru since Paiaguá, as noted by the general of the Province of Paraguay, D. Joaquim Alves, in 1672, the same report, were less dangerous and had much smaller population than the Guaicuru, not exceeding one thousand people . The alliance was a very advantageous strategy for the two groups. Together, hindered the punitive action Luso-Brazilian and increased the power of their attacks carried out by the rivers and the earth. The alliance consolidated in 1719 was only broken in the year 1768. According to Bastos, only when the two indigenous groups split was that the monsoon route became less dangerous and Eyiguayegui Became absolute masters of the region between Miranda and Ipané .
Rodrigues Prado began his commentary, narrating an attack in 1725, which was flourishing in several other until 1733. The Indians attacked riders and Paiaguá together monsoons and residents, causing many deaths and losses. The news of these attacks reached the ear of the king of Portugal, which, in the words of Prado, moved with compassion for his subjects sent to General of Sao paulo to have to make war on nations at the expense of real estate . According to Mary F. Costa For the economy and settlement of Portuguese mines, and consequently to ensure the rich Spaniards conquered territory, the government undertook a Lusitanian real war of extermination against the Indians .
Although it was organized a large army against the Indians in 1734 and Knights to have undertaken extensive damage against them, the attacks continued Eyiguayegui. The difference of the first attacks was that the group took part of the goods, raising the hope of the government to persuade them to trade with the Luso-Brazilians. This was the first ray of hope was to seek the alliance of the heathen, for like the same things he once despised, but still continued his insults, So that, between 1736 and 1775, there were numerous attacks on traders and residents. Luiz Albuquerque de Mello Pereira e Cáceres, governor of the province of Mato Grosso and Cuiabá, worried about the damage caused by those savages, as assessed in more than 4.000 deaths of Portuguese and economic loss in more than three million.

over time the potugueses see that the Eyiguayegui can be a good ally against the spanish and the Eyiguayegui is the only Amerindian tribe that the portuguese make a peace treaty giving lands to the Eyiguayequi. in 1864 the now weakened Eyiguayegui fought against the paraguayans in the paraguayan war but this war had a big price the allied Paiagua tribe became extinct, and of the 4 Eyiguayegui nation bows (tribes designation) 3 the beaquéo, cataguéo, and guatiedéo became extinct only the Kadiweu exist today (may tribe) every year we the kadiweu make the festival of Nawilo in honor to the 3 falled bows and to the paiagua the last ally

The Eyiguayegui fought in a maner similar to the huns or the comanches with bow and horse, but the best warriors fought in a shock cavalry formation the Eyaguayegui never give open battle to the enemy only ambush and skirmishs this tactics proved useful againt the spanish and portuguese that waited for open field battles
