The geek in me has always wanted a Mac, or
at least I wanted to try out Linux.
At my school I don't really have a need for my
laptop and I am not fortunate enough to have one
one of the Imacs that some teachers have. So,
I sacrificed my laptop, a Toshiba with WinVista
on it, to be my test for Ubuntu.
If you want to surf the net in relative safety without
fears of viruses, try out Ubuntu.
I loaded it on my laptop, not doing anything other
than clicking 'load with windows' and the system
did the rest. I like it, makes me feel safer.
I'm not bold enough to load this on my big-bertha-girl
PC at home with Win7. It has all my photos/files
ect on it. I like Ubuntu, it is kind of fun to run.
