I'm trying to find info, or at least estimates on the numbers of state executions carried out during the Soviet era. I have some basic guestimates on the Lenin-Statin period, but really need some help from about 1953-1989. I read one blurb that approximately 1/2000 sentences was a death sentence, but that still doesn't help me out much.
