You seem to be blinded by hatred for a man who has been dead since 1945, there is no need for the sheer venom in your post.

"any 'charisma' he had is the kind that the human race can do without.permanently."

I disagree, if you remove that part you would have no great leaders like Augustus or Genghis Khan.

"To me anyone expressing admiration for Hitler today should be subjected to examination under their country's mental health acts"

We could say the same for communists no?

I'm trying to make sense of your post, but I can't. Murdering tyrants can't have charisma? Based on that little I know about psychology, sociopaths and psychopaths often display great charisma.

Please explain to me how was I 'trying to rouge up the cheeks' of Hitler? I answered the question in the OP by using sources about Hitler. There's no need to be so hostile.

Who exactly expressed admiration for Hitler here?

To the Aussie who asked me the question-yes indeed!.Most noral decent human beings would have been grateful that their Jewish commanding officer had rewarded them by having no subsequent truck with racial hatred against his coreligionists.t
Belgarion -you can't defend the indefensible and Hitler and Nazism are totally indefensible.
I am not having a pop at you personally here but the kind of morons who say But look at the great Autobahnen that Hitler built...'' are pathetic.
IN most modern civilised societies if your defence counsel said-as a mitigating plea- 'BUT MY LORD my client may have murdered many people but he is a bloody good road builder the judge would righlty tell him to get lost.
Please explain how I am defending Hitler?
