I found a recipe for vegetarian haggis. Apparently one is supposed to fill hollowed out onions with the mix. But if we're not going to eat a sheep's stomach bag, what are we drinking all that whiskey for? Oh, yeah, that's right. It's fun to drink whiskey - even if we don't have any stomach bags to eat!

I stand corrected. Good post heikstheo.

Hi Nikd,

Welsh is still spoken in Wales, and the National Eisteddfod is a yearly festival of Welsh culture.

The Welsh language died out in Scotland, probably in the thirteeneth century, but Scots Gaelic is still spoken, mainly in the Highlands. The Gaelic equivalent of the Eisteddfod is the National Mod.

Based on language, the English and Welsh are "Germanic", while the Scots and Irish are "Celtic".

However, the genetics are a lot more complex than that.
