You mean we get McAllister as chancelor? Or who from the CDU should lead germany? 
I know that the other parties dont have chancelor material so you cant mean them...

But Merkel seem, at least from “Down Under” position a reasonable politician. I remember haw popular abroad was Gorbachev, he was very unpopular inside the Soviet Union.
