Did Louis XIV had a twin brother?

Are the rumours true did Louis XIV had a twin brother. What is the story behind it and what actually happened to him?

I don't think he really did, because I can't see any reason why they would want to keep it a secret if he did. I mean, if twins are born, one is still born first, so that one is the heir. I can't see why it would be any more difficult than the heir having an ordinary younger brother. Besides, with high infant mortality in those days, the more sons the better.

There was only Monsieur (Philippe of Orléans), the gay younger brother who made his wife(s) very unhappy (to the point where she died, nasty tongues saying he poisoned her) and was a most loyal brother to the elder one.

It could be very possible.Indeed twin are born in 4 times from 100. It is not very
often, but conspicuously. And I don't aware about such instance in royal families.
