| effect of the holocaust on the Nazi war machine
Despite the fact that Nazi Germany used many of their victims as forced laborers aiding the war effort, did the allocation of men, resources and fuel towards death camps like Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen towards the end of the war significantly effect German fighting capabilities. If Germany had merely kept its policy of ghettoization of Jews during the holocaust, instead of deporting them to camps, expending fuel, trained soldiers and cargo trains, could Nazi Germany have stayed in the war longer/won?
