I certainly do not think that gauls and celts were attractive to romans because of their genetic superioty, firstly because romans didnt like their smell, they smelled like fish oil which was disgusting to olive oil romans. It was simply because it was exotic. I mean i am sure there were black sexual slaves as well at that time.

Well, bringing science into this a bit, men are more attracted to blonde girls because young people have light hair, and young people are generally more fertile. So that could be why they wanted blondies

That seems rather unlikely. Italians are dark even when young, so there's no reason light hair should have been associated with youthfulness in Rome.

i'm going to agree with baal tawal and say that it's a matter of the celts and gauls being exotic.

I think Asian girls are beautiful along with many of my white friends, but my asian friend doesn't quite understand why we think so. Maybe because they're not exotic to him.

Living in the Mediterranean I can afirm that most of the P.I.G.s men get enthrilled by natural blondes (but I find asians more attractive).
I suppose that a rich man who had a harem would like to have a variety, including some blonds. To be more academic, find here some info on slavic people sold as slaves in the Ottoman Empire.

I read all of it and I don't see one word describing Slavic slave girls as blond. The Slavic slave girls had brown hair. There may have been some mixing with the Scandinavian river traders(The Rus), but the only blonds were the Rus women and the Rus did not trade them as slaves.

I think you are referring to today's slave market. There was a quite active slave trade through the Roman Empire. As for Roman referrences and iconography there is no acclimation for purchasing blonde haired slavegirls..
