My Story

I have been working on a story/book for a year or two. It is a historical/fiction book about what would really happen if the Celts went to Rome for revenge. It is really good,(i think so anyways), and it could have happend to. But what is really interesting is the backstory about the Saxons and Goths/Vandals who help make it possible, but for a reason of their own and with an unexpected plot twist. When I get a full rough draft I will post it and wait for your comments. Slan!-Helfaeng

I love Mackinaw. Haven't been up there in a couple years though. I'm not too far from you in the winter months then. I live near GR.

Yes, easy, just have the Cimbri cross the Alps after the Battle of Arausio, instead of heading for the Pyrenees. Rome is pretty much screwed if that happens.

I wouldn't mind reading a story that shows a kink in Rome's armour. There are those on this site however, ahem, that will call for jihad on you for even contemplating that Rome could be man-handled.

I think crusade would be a more accurate term to use.

They were rather resilient though, those Romans.
